• This course teaches the basic concepts and practical methods for managing and creating GIS data properly with QGIS.
• The course starts with the basics of GIS data structures and formats and how to create GIS data from paper maps. It then covers how to edit and manage attribute tables, and ends with practical exercises that help you retain what you have learned.
• This course is linked with QGIS LAB by MIERUNE, so you can keep studying on your own after the course ends.

• The basic structure of GIS data and how to approach managing it
• Overview of the GeoPackage data format
• Georeferencing (assigning geographic coordinates to a paper map or image data so that it lines up with its real-world position)
• Creating and editing GIS data (points, lines, and polygons)
• Editing attribute tables, and managing and creating fields
