Course features

  • This course teaches the basics you need to use QGIS in work and research. In the first half, you learn an overview of geographic information systems (GIS) and QGIS in a lecture. In the second half, you make a map and learn the basic QGIS operations as you go.
  • You work hands-on through a series of steps, from creating a project and adding data to setting styles and creating a layout for output, so you learn the basics of using QGIS.
  • This course is linked with “QGIS LAB by MIERUNE,” so you can keep learning on your own after the course ends.
