Features of the hands-on session

  • Kumoy (pronounced “kumoi”) is a cloud service that lets you publish and share maps made in QGIS as web maps, keeping their colors and styles.
  • This hands-on session is free to attend. Using the actual Kumoy screens, it walks through the steps from making a map in QGIS to sharing it on the web.
  • You can also just listen to the explanation. If you want to try Kumoy yourself, bring a laptop.

What to bring

  • A laptop with QGIS 3.44 long-term release (LTR) installed
  • A PC is not needed if you are only observing.
  • Power strips will be provided, but the number is limited.

Instructions for preparation will be sent by email about four days before the event.

The event may be photographed or filmed on the day, and the photos and video may be published on our website, on social media, and in event reports. Thank you for your understanding.
